Hillsdale, Mich.
TNA wrapped up a weekend tour on Sunday at the Hillsdale County Fair in Michigan.
(1) X Division champion Austin Aries defeated Alex Shelly and Brian Kendrick in a three-way match to retain the X Division Title. Aries drew a lot of heat when he spent most of the match outside of the ring. Austin grabbed the tights of Kendrick for the pin.
(2) Knockouts champion Winter beat Velvet Sky to retain the Knockouts Title. Winter successfully defended her title when she scored a pin with her feet on the ropes. I tried to start a "You screwed Bret" chant for Earl, but no one seemed to get the joke.
(3) Mr. Anderson beat Bully Ray with the Mic Check after the referee grabbed a chain away from Bully Ray. Before the match, Bully Ray said he was at the local Walmart and he thanked God he was not born a redneck. Throughout the match, a "Walmart" chant broke out. When Mr. Anderson came out, he called for the mic to be dropped down from the roof. When that did not happen, JB climbed in the ring and stood on a chair and dropped the mic into Mr. Anderson's hands.
(4) Jeff Hardy beat Jeff Jarrett. Before the match, Hardy came out to apologize to the fans, but Jarrett came out to say "Hell No," he doesn't accept his apology. Hardy pinned him with a Swanton Bomb.
(5) Beer Money (James Storm & Robert Roode) beat TNA tag champions Mexican America (Hernandez & Anarquia) in a non-title match. Before the match, Mex. America came out and said they did not have to defend the titles tonight because they beat every team in TNA. Beer Money came out, then James Storm took the mic and told Mexican America that if Earl screwed Bret Hart, they could get screwed themselves. Again, the crowd did not seem to get the reference. Beer Money with the DWI.
(6) A.J. Styles beat Daniels in the main event. Daniels drew heat by saying he shouldn't have to wrestle Styles because he has been him already and he wants to get out of the stinking rain in this stinking town, etc. Styles won via Styles clash.
There was also a special autograph session if you bought tickets, and if you bought the special Jeff Jarrett guitar. Eligible fans were able to go backstage to meet everyone and have them sign the guitar. Available for purchase a toy racking truck painted with a Jeff Hardy design. Jeff signed the truck and posed for pictures.
