a new era has begun in TNA
By THE Wrestling Times -  Notions of a new era has begun in TNA Impact Wrestling when Bobby Roode defeated Immortal’s Bully Ray in an impromptu Bound for Glory series overtime match to become the number one contender for the TNA title at Bound for Glory. In a moment four months in the making, wrestling fans watched as Bobby Roode tied the score with Bully Ray by defeating Gunner via submission with the Fujiwara armbar, and, with only a match interval to rest, Roode pinning Ray with the Double R Spinebuster.

After the match, an emotional Roode soaked in the adulation from the fans, as Bully Ray looked on in disbelief with his opportunity to headline BFG, taking place in his old ECW stomping ground, having slipped from his fingers.
Congratulations to Bobby, and to Beer Money parter James Storm, who cut an inspirational promo on how Roode earned this opportunity. TNA has a worthy contender, who for once is TNA home-grown, as it enters this potential new era where wrestling indeed matters.
No Surrender also featured a three-way match for the TNA title as Kurt Angle defended against Sting and Mr. Anderson by order of The Network. With the help of Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle continues to keep his hold on the title.
