| Hulk Hogan's "huge announcement" |
Hogan used the promo as an attempt to put over the younger wrestlers on the roster and point to the likes of Beer Money as the future of the company. Hogan's two year-contract is set to expire this fall after signing with TNA in fall 2009. Although unconfirmed, it remains to be seen if Hogan's announcement is the first step in separating from TNA.
Hogan is invested in several outside projects including Micro Championship Wrestling, his new video game, his speaking engagement tour, and a new TV show he claims to be negotiating with TV executives to launch. The impression Hogan gives off to the locker room - and to viewers watching his recent promo work - is he has checked out mentally from TNA.
-- At Monday's TV taping for Thursday's show, Ric Flair gave TNA officials a scare when he appeared to be having health issues during his match against Sting.
Related to a potential injury, at one point during the match, Flair clutched his shoulder and rolled out of the ring to collect himself. After the match, Flair came backstage to ice his arm.
