After a near-ten-minute "match" that included stalling, involvement by Ric Flair, and Hulk Hogan taking a few bumps, Sting beat Hogan in the semi-main event of TNA's Bound for Glory PPV on Sunday.
The outcome included the storyline development that Dixie Carter "regained control of the company." In the aftermath of the match, Immortal beat down Sting, who called for Hogan to bring back Hulkamania.
Hogan and Sting then cleared Immortal from the ring, leaving Eric Bischoff alone. Hogan teed off on Bischoff to officially turn babyface as Dixie Carter looked on from ringside with stars in her eyes. The post-match concluded with Hogan and Sting leaving the ring together and TNA restored to Carter's control.
