- "We were never really that close. We had moments when we would talk about our families and relationships and being a pro athlete and how to stay away from certain things, how to go about certain things, we had those talks. We never got to the point where we were like real brothers. We both kind of knew that we would compete against each other one day. It was what it was and we just tried to handle it the best we could."

 : This is certainly not the tune both were singing prior to February of last year, but it's become clear that was the case. Their "friendship" certainly went out the window quick just from Jones saying he'd fight Evans if the UFC asked him to. That confirmed what Evans feared when Greg Jackson brought Jones in when he had reservations about it, and it made for a contentious split. Now, the two will finally square off in April, and they each hope to put an end to the feud in decisive fashion in Atlanta.
