More Rumours For 1000th RAW.

After much delibration it seems that X-Pac will be there, posting this on twitter – ‘Since everyone is saying they’re on their way to St. Louis. I might as well go too. Since when did I need an invitation?’

Look for some sort of Legends Battle Royal tonight on RAW. There were also plans to have a major Legends “beatdown” on Heath Slater. Basically, all the Legends will hit their finishers on Slater after he cuts a promo bashing them.

Vader, who like DDP appeared in a segment on RAW in the past several weeks leading up to Monday, is currently in St. Louis and expected to appear at the 1,000th RAW event.

Also, WWE Diva Kelly Kelly will return to the company this week after being granted time off the road in late May. She tweeted Sunday, “On the road again. Can’t wait to see everyone at the #raw1000.”
Kelly, who had been on the road on a weekly basis since joining WWE in 2006, was reportedly granted a break to spend time with her family and boyfriend. She requested time off due to being “burnt out”. Kelly last competed on television on the May 21 RAW, losing to Beth Phoenix.

Evan Bourne stated Sunday that he will not be on hand for tonight’s historic 1,000th episode of RAW emanating from his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Bourne remains sidelined after breaking his foot in four places and dislocating it in five in an automobile accident in March.

There have also been rumors Steve Austin is in St. Louis, but they have not been confirmed.  He was contacted to appear.

The Rock arrived earlier this morning and is backstage at the event.

Popular beat combo Green Day is in St. Louis and staying at the WWE hotel. At this time it has not been confirmed if they are performing on tonight’s show or if they are there as guests of WWE.

Vince On UFC.

In a promotional interview Vince McMahon was asked about his thoughts on UFC as a competitor for WWE product. “We’re in show business, they are a sport. Their ratings are abysmal. They are in the pay-per-view business, and they do reasonably well there. We just set a record for WrestleMania. We had 1.3 million buys for this year’s WrestleMania, and our pay-per-view numbers for our shows have been up 30 percent since then. So, we are looking pretty good.”

TNA  Stars Win Tag Titles In Japan

Samoa Joe and Magnus are the new GHC Tag Team Champions for Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling Noah. They captured the belts Sunday in Tokyo from Akitoshi Saito and Jun Akiyama, ending their seventh-month reign.
Magnus wrote on Twitter, “New GHC/ Pro-Wrestling NOAH World Tag Team Champions… @SamoaJoe and yours truly. Ryogoku Sumo Hall Tokyo, it was an honor!”
